Despite its small size, the IC-U20SR is built to perform. With IP54 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD810G military-grade durability, it’s ready for heavy daily use. The clear, easy-to-read LCD display shows battery status, channel, and settings at a glance, even under tough conditions.
A high-capacity 2350mAh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 21 hours of continuous operation — enough for back-to-back shifts. You can charge the radio via three flexible options: USB Type-C (charge only), the supplied BC-262 charging cradle, or the optional BC-264 battery charger.
The IC-U20SR features two programmable buttons — including a top-mounted emergency key that transmits a distress tone — along with advanced audio features like 600mW output, Call-Ring, Smart-Ring, and hands-free VOX with compatible headsets.
