The Yaesu FTM-310DE ASP is a premium dual-band mobile transceiver designed for high-performance amateur radio communications, offering advanced features, superb audio quality, and robust build quality.
The series includes two models:
FTM-310DE ASP – with built-in ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processing).
FTM-310DE – requires the optional SPU-1 board for ASP functionality.
Both versions share the same core feature set, delivering true dual-band operation with two independent receivers on different bands or within the same band – including C4FM/C4FM simultaneous receive in V/U, V/V, U/V, and U/U configurations.
With 55W VHF and 50W UHF output (selectable 55W/50W, 25W, 5W), a heavy-duty heat sink with FACC (Funnel Air Convection Conductor) ensures stable, reliable operation even during long transmissions.
The Acoustic Enhanced Speaker System (AESS) delivers a total of 6W audio output, using a 3W front speaker in the control head and a 3W main unit speaker. By varying the phase, output balance, and frequency characteristics between the speakers, the FTM-310DE ASP achieves clear, high-fidelity sound even in noisy environments.
Note: When ASP is active, only the 3W front speaker is used to ensure optimal clarity.
