Heil Sound Parametric Receive Audio System Equaliser (PRAS EQ) is a professional‑grade audio processor designed to dramatically improve the clarity and articulation of received signals in amateur radio, shortwave, CB, and commercial receivers.

Featuring three independent equalisation controls, the PRAS EQ allows operators to tailor audio precisely to their voice and listening preferences. The parametric midrange filter (400 Hz–4 kHz) with ±15 dB gain adjustment ensures crisp voice presence, while fixed low (160 Hz) and high (6 kHz) filters deliver balanced sound across the spectrum.

Connectivity is versatile, with inputs for 1/8”, XLR, and 8‑ohm speaker outputs, plus balanced XLR, mono 1/4”, and 1/8” recording outputs. Two independent headphone amplifiers with dedicated level controls provide flexible monitoring.
