The Icom ID-5100E is a feature-rich dual-band mobile transceiver offering VHF/UHF operation with advanced D-STAR digital voice and data communication. Building on the success of the IC-2820H, it adds a responsive touch screen, integrated GPS, optional Bluetooth functionality, and support for Android™ devices. The ID-5100E is designed for users seeking powerful performance with modern usability.
Two Versions Available
ID-5100E (Standard): Includes hand microphone, mounting hardware, controller cable, and CS-5100 cloning software.
ID-5100E Deluxe: Includes all standard items plus Bluetooth module (UT-133), VS-3 Bluetooth headset, and complete mounting system. Save £126 (inc. VAT).

Intuitive Touch Screen Operation
Large 5.5-inch display (320 × 128 pixels) with a responsive, user-friendly touch interface for quick access to settings, DR functions, and memory editing. The software QWERTY keyboard simplifies input of alphanumeric characters.
Dual Band Simultaneous Receive
Receive on VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF or VHF/UHF combinations. Frequency coverage includes 118–174MHz and 375–550MHz.*

DV Dualwatch
Monitor two D-STAR (DV) channels or a mix of DV and FM simultaneously. Prioritizes main band audio if signals arrive at the same time.
Integrated GPS Receiver
Transmits and receives position data. Displays position, course, speed, and altitude. Allows for repeater search and GPS logging without requiring an external antenna.
DV/FM Repeater List Function
Automatically finds nearby D-STAR or FM repeaters using the GPS location and stored repeater list data — ideal for travellers or when operating in unfamiliar areas.
Dplus Reflector Linking
Enhanced DR (D-STAR Repeater) mode supports reflector linking commands including connect, disconnect, echo, and information.
Optional Bluetooth® Functionality
Add the UT-133 Bluetooth® unit and use with the VS-3 Bluetooth headset for hands-free communication and remote radio control via the RS-MS1A Android™ app.
RS-MS1A Android™ App
Free from Google Play™, this app enables remote control of DR functions, map integration, and DV mode text/image communication (Bluetooth module required).
